It was November 1998 when I first made a trip to Churchill, Hudson Bay in Canada for my devoted hobby, photography. The mysterious green color of the water and the wild polar bears on the pure white snow enchanted my eyes and my mind. Our brand, "ice bear" was born under my wish to apply the images into our merchandise. As a result "ice bear" was developed to a brand, which represents the sharpness and cleanness of the images for both polar bear, and ceramic knives carry indeed.
	The green color, which reminded me of the water in Hudson Bay, was selected for the background color of the original logo.Presently we prepare wide range of "ice bear" collections ceramic knives to hand-forged knives, professional chef's knives and water sharpening stones, etc.
